Terms of payment

• After making a reservation with Best Local Experiences a deposit of 25% of the total travel sum has to be paid immediately, plus the costs for any applicable non-refundable (low-cost) air tickets, train tickets, bus tickets and ferry tickets.
• The remaining amount of 75% has to be paid not later than 1 month before the start of the tour/land arrangement.
• If your booking is made within 1 month before the start of the tour/land arrangement then the full amount is payable at the time of booking.
• Note that for any (low-cost) air tickets, train tickets, bus tickets and ferry tickets Best Local Experiences always requires full prepayment.
• All bank charges and fees are to be paid by the sender.

Cancellation & changes policy

In the event of cancellation of the booked and confirmed trip, the following conditions apply unless explicitly stated otherwise at the time of booking:

1. Airline tickets, train tickets, bus tickets and ferry tickets are booked and paid in advance by us and cannot be cancelled and therefore no refund is possible.
2. Other cancellation costs of the booking in addition to the costs mentioned in point 1:

• In case of cancellation of more than 35 days before the planned arrival date, a compensation of 25% of the rest of travel sum is due.
• In case of cancellation 35 days to 14 days before the planned arrival date, a compensation of 40% of the rest of the travel sum is due.
• In case of cancellation 14 days to 48 hours before the planned arrival date, a compensation of 50% of the rest of the travel sum is due.
• In case of 48 hours or less before the planned, a compensation of 75% of the rest of the travel sum is due.
• In case of no-show or cancellation after the starting date of the land arrangement, no refund is possible (100% costs).

If the full payment has already been made we will refund according to the above terms but bank transactions fees will be paid by the clients.

2. The information of your computer, the entering for using your website. By our website and server of Best Local Experienceswill remember and record the information at your browser automatically; such as;

• IP address of your computer.
• The type of your browser.
• Your website page will be early accessed before you will enter our website.
• The website page that you have visited on the website.
• The number of the time that you have used in visiting on the website page, the product or the information that you have searched for, the visiting time, the date, and other statistical information.

3. Partial cancellation:
   If you booked a land arrangement for multiple persons and 1 or 2 persons have to cancel, it is a partial cancellation. In case of a partial cancellation, it might be possible that the travel sum for the other travelers will increase, since the room occupancy has changed and/or the fixed costs (e.g. a transfer by private minivan) will be shared by fewer people.
4. Changes:
   If you would like to change a tour program or date then these changes must be communicated in writing, after which Best Local Experienceswill check whether it is possible to change the trip. If there is a change in the total travel costs, Best Local Experiences will charge the change plus any cancellation costs.

Force majeure

During the term of this agreement, neither party shall be in default of its obligations to the extent that its performance is delayed or prevented by causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to, acts of God, natural disasters, bankruptcy of a vendor, strikes and other labor disturbances, acts of war, civil disturbances or other equivalent or comparable events.

Indemnity

The client agrees to indemnify against all damage or injury (including death) to property or person(s) resulting from intentional or negligent acts or omissions from their respective officers, employees, agents, contractor or subcontractor.

Liability

Best Local Experiences accepts no responsibility and shall not be liable for any injury, illness, loss, accident, expenses, delay or other irregularity resulting from the client’s participation in any of its services provided (tours, transfers and touring programs). Best Local Experiences acts as an intermediary between all airlines, hotels, local tourist offices and other service providers. Therefore Best Local Experiences reserves the right to modify tours and itineraries with or without notice. Best Local Experiences package tours are organized in conjunction with the respective airline(s) scheduled flights, itineraries and timetables; these are provisional and subject to change without notice. Acknowledgement and confirmation of the above-mentioned conditions is active once clients participate in one of the provided services via Best Local Experiences. The itinerary of the excursion, package and/or tour cannot be altered or changed without prior permission from Best Local Experiences. We cannot be held liable if you amend the excursion and its content in your brochures or provide incorrect descriptions to clients.

Privacy policy

Your information is guaranteed complete privacy. Our website uses forms in which you give us contact information (like your name and email address) so you can book our travel services. We use your customer information only when it will be important for us to contact you regarding our service.

Taxes

Unless otherwise specified, all quoted rates are inclusive of applicable taxes (including service charges, Value Added Taxes (VAT) and/or locally charged taxes). Domestic tourism taxes and/or airport taxes may be applicable and are not included. These need to be paid directly to the relevant authority, by the travelers/guests. In the event of government-imposed tax changes, Best Local Experiences reserves the right to alter the rates accordingly.

Travel insurance

It is strongly recommended that the client’s guests obtain comprehensive travel insurance while travelling that covers matters such as death, injury, sickness, theft, damage of any kind, and other important matters. Neither Best Local Experiences nor its employees/ agents/suppliers or business partners shall/and can be held responsible for any loss, damaged, stolen personal belongings or sickness, injury or other medical matters. Best Local Experiences will assist the travelers /guests in any mishap cost of which shall be borne directly by the traveler/guest(s).

Travel names

The main booker is responsible for correctly communicating the names of all travelers in accordance with their passport. If the information given is incorrect and later needs to be changed, then costs will be involved which Best Local Experiences will pass onto the booker.

Travel requirements

Acquiring correct information about passport requirements, when making travel inquiries with Best Local Experiences, is strongly advisable. For all travel from and to the country/countries Best Local Experiences is serving its customers, a valid passport is required at all times. Conditions for specific validity of passports and regulations for other valid travel documentation can be obtained from each respective embassy and/or consulate of the customer.

For most countries, passports need to be valid for at least six months from the date of entry at a border post/airport/seaport. Any issues related to invalid / not properly issued / expired passports in accordance with the laws of the arriving country are solemnly falling under the responsibility of the client / the traveler/guest(s).
